A great educational opportunity from one of the USGBC NY Upstate outreach partners!

Think solar is too expensive and complicated?

Solarize Syracuse makes solar easier and more affordable than ever.

Join us at one of our free workshops to learn about how solar works and how you can save money putting solar on your home or business by joining with your neighbors in our bulk purchasing program. We’ll also tell you about other ways to save money and save energy.

    RSVP for a Workshop

Solarize Syracuse is a grassroots community solar initiative for the City of Syracuse and the Towns of DeWitt, Manlius and Onondaga.

We are on a mission to combine the purchasing power of our community to save money and the planet. The workshops will cover how solar works, and we’ll tell you how you can save money with our bulk purchasing program. Our local community solar experts will answer your questions to help you decide whether solar energy is right for your home or business. We’ll also tell you about other ways to save money and save energy, and how to take advantage of state and federal tax credits, subsidies and low-interest financing available for reducing your energy use and producing your own electricity.
